The MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK.12 offers daily fashion shows of national and international designers, exhibitions, side events and photo actions.

Focus on Austrian Design at the MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK.12

The manifested goal of the MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK organizers, Elvyra Geyer, Zigi Mueller and Maria Oberfrank, is the increase and broader recognition of domestic fashion design. After the first three successful years of the MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK the fashion world is in anticipation of its fourth run. \"Paris, Milano and London are clearly our paradigm, but we do not want to compete with these cities at this moment!\" so the initiators (creative headz).

In 2012 not only national labels such as Callisti, Kayiko, Michel Mayer, Anelia Peschev, Pitour, superated, Tiberius and many more are expected but also international designers. From September 12 – 16, 2012 the MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK.12 will take place at the MuseumsQuartier Wien/modequartier21 – a must for byers, trendscouts and fashionistas alike! \"A big crowd will be drawn to the Austrian fashion-spectacle of the year!\" the organizers agree. The numbers of the last years prove just that: In 2011, 10.000 fashionistas attended the shows at the fashion tent and gave standing ovations over and over again. Additional visitors were glued to the flat screens in the foyer, thrilled to witness the live-broadcast of the shows. 55 fashion shows of national and international designers presented by 261 models. During the entire MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK.11 a distance of about 150 km was covered on the catwalk.

Apart from the Fashion Shows at the fashion tent, the visitors can try on and buy the latest designs at the designers´ stands. Glamour-spoiled fashionistas can indulge in a most diversified range of offers: Exhibitions, shopping areas, side events, photo activities and much more. MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK establishes Vienna as a future fashion metropolis. Every year the MuseumsQuartier turns into a platform where designer with esprit and creativity convince the audience with their work.
