Coming down on the audience, \"Positive tension (in the air)\" by Apparatus 22 collective is a series of literally explosive performances balancing the enthralling fascination for fashion with a thoughtprovoking, activist and irreverent twist.

Specially conceived for the public space in the main courtyard of MQ, the Apparatus 22 performances taking place just after every large event within the \"Summer of Fashion\" are part of their long-term conversation project \"1000 questions on fashion\" that engages with the fashion system as an object of analysis.

Apparatus 22 is a multidisciplinary art collective initiated by Erika Olea (b. 1982,
Bucharest), Maria Farcas (b. 1977, Targu Mures), Dragos Olea (b. 1979, Bucharest) and Ioana Nemes (1979, Bucharest - 2011, NY). The collective is based in Bucharest, Romania.
Aparatus22 are invited as Artists-in-Residence of quartier21/MQ in June and July.
