In March and April 2012 the artists Özlem Alkis, Marko Milic and Sezen Tonguz are guest-starring in the Tanzquartier Wien in the framework of the residency programme organised together with KulturKontakt Austria. In a public showing they give an insight into their current research and working processes and their performative projects.

After various training phases, among others with ex.e.r.ce/CCN Montpellier and the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine Angers, as well as working on his own projects Özlem Alkis worked alongside Loïc Touzé, Deborah Hay, Emre Koyuncuoglu and Sabine Jamet among others. She is the co-founder and codirector of the Istanbul-based initiative Amber, a platform and a festival for art and technology, and of the Cati Contemporary Dance Artists Association.

Marko Milic\'s artistic background is shaped by his analysis of photography and his degree in adult education, and his work as an assistant teacher for people with learning difficulties. Since a DanceWeb scholarship in 2006 he has been a member of the international artists\' collective sweet & tender collaborations, which works on alternative production and creation models.

Following her degree in environmental technology at the Istanbul Technical University, Sezen Tonguz trained in various dance techniques, among others at the Cati Dance Studio and in the framework of the Choreographic Creation, Dance Research and Training Programme in Forum Danca in Lisbon. Alongside cooperation with various choreographers, she developed her solo Crimson and the performance project Memento For Sale. The residency programme at the Tanzquartier Wien is a joint project with KulturKontakt Austria.
