In his new work, Faux Mouvement, Fabrice Lambert scrutinises what seems natural and thereby true. He wants to awaken a doubt: could what we see and what we experience just be the stringing together of accidents as suggested by the philosopher Paul Virilio? And can a coincidence be foreseeable or even be consciously produced? What is true and what is not true? What do truth and untruth, \"true\" and \"untrue\" elements, ideas, feelings and actions on stage look like? Based on the interaction between organic and exaggerated, strained postures and movements, between various concepts of coincidence and commitment, between predictability and construction, the French choreographer goes in search of the point after which a movement becomes untrue.
