SEKEM is an Egyptian cultural initiative and fair trade organization founded in 1977 by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish. In 2003, Abouleish received the Alternative Nobel Prize because his vision was successful and is recognized by politicians, economic leaders, and scientists around the world. The integration of economics, culture, science, and nature created a development model for a future worth living - in the middle of the Egyptian desert. Prof. Dr. Abouleish is a councillor on the World Future Council. The lecture is taking place in the context of the BIO AUSTRIA information campaign we look at things as a whole. BIO AUSTRIA, the association of Austrian organic farmers, invites participants to attend a reception in the Ovalhalle after the lecture.

An event organized by MuseumsQuartier Wien and BIO AUSTRIA
