Justus Neumann confronts a new challenge with his production of the \"Song of the Nibelungs\". He takes on the virtually impossible task of bringing the Ring of the Nibelungs to the stage, incorporating the entire tent in the process and drawing on the skill of being able to make a lot out of nearly nothing. The result is great theater with a highly personal touch using the magic of imagination. All of the characters are played by the clown. With the aid of two tools of expression - narration and the poetic power of looks and gestures, he manages to present the famed medieval saga almost exclusively through pantomime. Australian object artist and theater designer Greg Methé takes the circus tent into a new dimension, with enchanting contraptions and machinery and lovingly conceived prototypes. These are no ordinary props - every piece is an invention, a work of art, part of a big whole that comes to life in every performance.
