Vienna is a city full of creativity, a city of the arts and cultures. The district festival is all about uncovering this rich diversity and presenting it to the public. For twenty-three days, the festival will showcase the creative potential of the individual districts and the artists, creative professionals, and cultural initiatives based there.
The objective of the festival is to juxtapose contemporary art and cultural activities with socially relevant issues, confront people with art and culture in everyday situations, and promote the sustainability of cultural projects.
