No, it\'s not about cartography. At least not in the conventional sense. Out of the 700 million people living in Europe, 35 artists have created exclusive comic strips about their respective countries. The result has been published in the form of a collective compendium that offers a multifaceted view of a different side of Europe.
Each story is not only different in style and genre, but also in language. The book includes contributions in Georgian, a mixture of Russian and Ukranian, the local dialect of Ghent, Basque, Latvian, and Austrian dialect. To accompany the book, KABINETT is showing an exhibition of words and images with portraits and landscapes from thirty-five European countries.
The comic publication EUROPA 1:20\'000\'000 is available 24/7 throughout the exhibition period in the KABINETT comic passage vending machine.
