Opening: Thu, May 5, 20:00, RaumD / quartier21

Noriko Okaku and Max Hattler first met when studying together at the Royal College of Art. There are several parallels in their animation-based experimental, unscripted, semi-narrative, non-dialogue approach to working with the moving image.
In \"Transform\", an exhibition at Asifakeil coinciding with their Artist Residency at MuseumsQuartier, Hattler and Okaku present new works which engage the transformative qualities of animation to probe reality, question certainty, and reflect on the taken-for-granted.
Exhibition Asifakeil: - Allegory of Mrs.Triangle (Noriko Okaku, animation & objects, 2011) - tetete (Noriko Okaku, animation & objects, 2011) - Forms I & Forms II (Max Hattler, animation loops, 2011) - Sync (Max Hattler, animation loop, 2010)
Screening: - Allegory of Mrs.Triangle (Noriko Okaku, 2011) - The Resolution of the Congress 1962 (Noriko Okaku, 2010) - Multifaceted (Noriko Okaku, 2005) - Something in between memories (Noriko Okaku, 2010) - Sync (Max Hattler, 2010) - 1923 aka Heaven (Max Hattler, 2010) - 1925 aka Hell (Max Hattler, 2010) - Ladyscraper‘s Cheese Burgers (Max Hattler, 2011)
