The new 20,000 sqm educational campus on the grounds of the central train station is to represent a pilot project for 0 to14 year-olds with a kindergarten, a primary school and a secondary school. A didactic spatial concept with a catalogue of the qualities required in its realisation was worked out in cooperation with teaching experts as the basis for the open two-stage competition. The projects submitted to the competition and selected for the 2nd stage are presented in the exhibition, and form the starting point for a discussion on current trends in Viennese school building.
