The new work by the artists\' collective SUPERAMAS is at the same time a stage performance, a forthcoming television series and an internet platform. Linked in a kind of chat room, people from various regions of Europe tell us about their recurring, sometimes frightening or just absurd dreams. For some, the YOUDREAM-platform, however, is simply just one of the last places to stage oneself (anew), to think through political statements freely or to compensate for a lack of intimacy. Put together, however, the contributions form an (un)conscious report about the state of Europe, its nations and its dreams, which SUPERAMAS realise performatively on stage. In the usually skilfully staged interaction of various media, the performance negotiates alternative possibilities of understanding theatre and playfully exploring the boundaries between reality and fiction.
