Humanity in a somewhat crazy yet friendly future. Strange beings are dancing in golden veils and imaginative suits in the light of oversized desk lamps, they are wearing thick glasses and blonde wigs, then again eerie masks. For this new piece, Canadian star choreographer Marie Chouinard has immersed herself in the ideal ratios of the golden mean and the dynamics of the irrational number phi. With the tender virtuosity and carefree eroticism typical of her, the artist transfers her dancers to a transitory atmosphere in-between times. \"The golden mean - time regained\", as she calls it. It\'s all about recovered time. Thus human existence for Marie Chouinard is a voyage of discovery, a wide field for experimenting and a smelting furnace for surprising possibilities.
