Intrigue, lies and love of the trivial are the stuff Dream Season is made of. Soap opera and at the same time the study of it, the performance plays with the narrow line that separates bitter parody and empathy, analytical view and sentimental identification. In this work Andrea Bachzetsis asks how stories are told, transmitted by a language - by live camera and television onto the stage and back again - and what are the codes of this real-media interplay, and she puts our seeing - between television dreaming and our own perception - to the test.
