In June 2009 Dominik Grünbühel and Charlotta Ruth created two solos in the framework of Stückwerk. Following an invitation by Tanzquartier Wien to further develop these performative works, they will now be the launch-point for diving into a world they are both curious about: How can the strength of performance - its energy, its immediacy, the kinetic empathy it generates and also its social implication - be translated into different settings? The first part of the evening investigates live versus non-live, physical dance versus dance/choreography on screen, and explores what it means to rework an idea in a different media. Starting with Charlotta Ruth\'s solo Twice upon a Time the space transforms into a low budget film studio and the première of a pilot movie. In the second half, Dominik Grünbühel\'s solo I am the Mockingbird is placed in gallery-like surroundings where non-linearity is explored along with other performative installations and video works. In the framework of this evening, live and virtual guests with similar interests are invited with their work or as debaters.
