Choreography in dance and performance, in sound, film, video and theory, in the social and political, in thought and action: from Dec 2 to Dec 6 the Tanzquartier Wien is dedicating itself to a concentrated analysis of the constituent effects, elements and processes of choreography. Alongside visiting performances and sketches of work, the programme includes artistic-theoretical dialogues, lecture performances and installative and participative formats. At the beginning of this project, various artists and theoreticians present their positions and realizations of their choreographic practice respectively their reflections about choreography.
