The exhibition is to launch the label ak7 and presents design by international artists Pavel Büchler, Sissi Farassat, Shilpa Gupta, Ulrike Lienbacher, Maeve Rendle, Esther Stocker, Martin Walde, Lois Weinberger and Erwin Wurm.

ak7 follows the convergence of design and art. Inspired by the Arts & Crafts Movement and ‘Wiener Werkstätte\' design objects conceived by artists are produced traditionally by hand by Tyrolean craftspeople in limited editions of 7 each.

In cooperation with the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs and the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

The preview is part of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK.

A book will be published by Folio Verlag.
