September 2024 - October 2024Lira Gjikolli (born 1998 in Kosovo) is a graphic designer living in Prishtina. She started her career at the graphic design studio Trembelat in Prishtina while completing her studies in graphic design.
As an independent graphic designer, she has collaborated with art institutions such as the National Gallery of Kosovo or the National Museum of Matera on various visual identity and exhibition design projects, supporting local and international artists.
In particular, she worked on the exhibition design and publication design of the exhibition "Monumentality of the Everyday" by artist Jakup Ferri, which represented the Kosovo Pavilion at the 59th Biennale Arte.
Gjikolli is currently part of the team of Studio Permanent, a small graphic design studio specialising in printed matter for non-commercial, social and cultural clients.
Lira Gjikolli is fellowship holder of the "Capacity Building Programme" launched by BMKOES for cultural managers from Kosovo. The "Cultural Work Trainee Programme Kosovo-Austria" was launched on the initiative and with funding from the Austrian Ministry of Culture BMKOES. Since 2023, selected cultural workers have had the opportunity to work on selected institutions/projects.
