She studied at the Bern University of the Arts and the German Literature Institute in Leipzig, among others.
Her theater texts (published by Felix Bloch Erben) have won several awards and have been performed in Germany and Switzerland.
She has realized numerous performances with the group bigNOTWENDIGKEIT (bigNECESSITY).
Her debut novel Wie die Gorillas (Like Gorillas) was published by Verbrecher Verlag in 2021 and was awarded the August Graf von Platen Förderpreis 2022.
During her residency at MQ Esther Becker will work on her new prose project, a collection of stories with the working title Notfallkontakte (Emergency Contacts).
