ADD-SHARE-LEARN. Temporary experimental exhibition space „Sklenofka“, Trnava
During my residency I would like to continue on my current art project which was started by installation Grown/ Vypestované (2016, Umelka, Bratislava). It focuses on necessity of comprehensive, holistic perception of everything around us. I am interested in morfology and life of plants, trees and I compare it with human mind, thoughts, relationships and gathering of knowledge. All of my art-educational project were based on Deluze-Guattari theory of rhizoma thinking and were combined with arboscent form of thinking. In mentioned installation Grown/ Vypestované I worked with live plants (weeds)- Rumex patientia. I moved that „non-cultural“ plant to „cultural“ space (gallery). I suppose the theme of „weeds“ and „cultural plants“ is nowadays very actual (transcultural dialog, the question of refugees, extremist parties, terrorism...etc.). In global and in local as well. The goal of my project is not to underline and „solve“ the particular problem but to bring ("grown/ vypestovať") diffrent point of view through simple activities.
To be in Vienna is great opportunity for me to ship project with „weeds“ forward. It would be time for terrain research, for making maps of weeds in parks (parks as a "cultural", artificial forests), gardens, etc., for cooking with weeds as ingredients; for making situations and nomadic installations. I have the ambition to invite for cooperation selected students from the Trnava University and work together on a one part of project that should add educative function. Everything is open; it´s open, self-organized form; open for networking and adding, sharing, free learning.
