A series of drawings and collages reflecting on paradoxes of “politics of decommunisation” in today’s Ukraine. Developing the project “Take the place, you will not be punished” first shown at “BALAGAN!!!” exhibition in Kühlhaus Berlin, with the utopian proposal of alternative use of pedestals, emptied during destruction of Soviet monuments. Object of my interest is "politics of memory" in post-Maidan Ukraine and processes of re-ideologisation of institutional historical narrative.
