During my stay in Vienna, I primarily want to focus on gaining information and meeting people through a curatorial research and exploration Viennese contemporary art scene. I am interested in getting to know the generation of young contemporary artists born around 1980s and 1970s with mainly conceptual background, but without any media restrictions. I want to observe their works with the vision of a future cooperation and confrontation with Slovak local scene.
Secondly, I want to contact Vienna based curators and institutions to share experiences, in order to deepen my knowledge. Also, I want to try working on a collaborative projects based on Bratislava – Vienna connections.
Lastly, I will work on my unfinished curatorial projects (based on my thesis Historical Events as a Theme and Premise in Contemporary Art) and complete them with new Vienna experiences.
