When the Republic of Austria purchased the Archive Hans Hollein, Az W and MAK and it was acquired by the Az W, an appreciation award and project grants were also established. The latter are awarded annually to outstanding positions and projects. The evening brings together some of the award winners and shows a wide variety of approaches to Hollein's oeuvre.

The 1969 short film on Hollein preempts the way the job and production of architecture have changed. Andreas Rumpfhuber has engaged with changes in working conditions after the 2nd world war in his research, and with this vision in particular, among others. Following the screening of the film, he chats with an Az W guide while they give a guided tour of the exhibition.

The VRUM Performing Arts Collective plunges into the adventure of fighting fear! Based on the poem "Life doesn't Frighten me", the intergenerational ensemble is developing a production in which it explores the dangers, horrors and craziness of everyday life.

"Mischmatsch" is the story of a person on the margins of society. For someone who has so little, the longing for life and the hunger for liveliness also means survival. And it seems that his humor and longing are the only things he has to counter his situation.

"New Old" is rather personal. It is on the verge, if not already way over the edge, to something private. Meandering between topics such as the fear of peeing oneself, the mouth-like quality of the vulva, the phenomenologically fascinating thing of being two people at once for a while, as well as how musical the word ‘pussy’ is in different languages, and the consequences thereof.
