As the final project of her studies in the Master of Arts Education program at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Martha Paredes is developing an interdisciplinary performance with a group of professional musicians and dancers, which will be presented as part of the exhibition Rene Matić / Oscar Murillo. JAZZ..

In this sculpture-cum-sound installation complemented by live movement performance, multidisciplinary artist nora chipaumire animates the resonances of the word "Dambudzo", creating a radical, participatory space of decolonised possibility.

Rainer Prohaska, artist and founder of Futurama Lab, will be present over a period of ten days with his team and with the involvement of visitors with a sculpture performance at the MuseumsQuartier.

The team explores their African, Indonesian, Iraqi and European origins and the colonial history associated with them. Inspired by the life and work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, who repeatedly painted the three-pointed crown in his pictures as a symbol of self-empowerment, but also of oppression.
