The performer feels her way along inner unevenness and geological unrest into landscapes. They encounter sediments and begin to reshape and decompose the physical relief. This relief is (also) the body. A body read as female, which in its materiality seeks to embody nothing other than the body, embarking on a process of excavation and detachment.

The Saturday Hangouts take place every other day of performances as part of the Rakete festival: a programme devised by various guests to pass the time, to listen and perhaps take notes in lectures, readings, workshops, listening sessions and artist talks.

How far can art go? How far does it have to go? Performance artist Pippa Bacca set out in a wedding gown to hitchhike from Milan to Jerusalem in 2008 in order to take a stand for peace and trust among people. Along the way, she was raped and murdered. The first part of "The Bride and Goodnight Cinderella" focusses on Bacca and other female artists who have used their own bodies as a means of protest and a target.

In "MOTHER LOVES YOU", mother and son stop time and the role models become blurred. The play lovingly explores this relationship, which we all know in one form or another. Is it intimate, annoying, vital, secondary? Definitely complex!
